Lucila de Avila
Lucila de Ávila is the Managing Director of LS9 Brazil, responsible for all the activities of LS9 in South America. Most recently, she was the Regional Director for the South American operations of Lyondellbasell Industries, one of the world's largest polymers, petrochemical and fuels companies, where she was responsible for all Business and Commercial activities in the continent for the Chemicals Division, and also Brazilian ethanol supply to the Fuels Division.

Prior to this, she held several positions with the company and its predecessors, starting with commercial activities in Brazil and Mercosur. She started her career with The Dow Chemical Company, including a special assignment in the company’s New York Sales Office.
A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Lucila de Avila graduated in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration from Escola de Engenharia Mauá and Fundação Getulio Vargas, respectively.
