| Description: |
LS9 is expanding the Metabolic/Cellular Engineering
function of our research in biofuels and chemical process. We
currently are seeking an innovative Fungal/Bacterial molecular
and/or microbiologist who has industrial experience and a proven
track record with regards to microbial strain development,
metabolic engineering, microbial, flux analysis, pathway design,
systems biology and/or related areas on the bench. |
| Key Responsibilities: |
To conduct scientific research in the laboratory with
regards to the construction of yeast and other Fungal strains for
Biofuels and Chemicals production. |
| Qualifications: |
- BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology,
Microbiology or other related Science Discipline with 2-5 years of
industry experience.
- Expertise in constructing and evaluating yeast and fungal strains.
- Experience working with bacterial strains.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a
multidisciplinary team.
- Must be motivated, creative, have strong problem solving and
critical thinking skills, and be capable of working independently.
