| Description: |
LS9, Inc. is seeking an experienced Microbiology Research Associate at
either the mid to Senior level. This Senior Research Associate will work in a team
environment to provide research on strain optimization via Metabolic Engineering in
order to support LS9 Inc.'s Biofuels and Chemical research projects. |
| Key Responsibilities: |
To conduct scientific research in the laboratory with regards to
the construction of yeast and other Fungal strains for Biofuels and Chemicals
production. |
| Qualifications: |
- BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or
other related Science Discipline with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Expertise in constructing and evaluating yeast and fungal strains.
- Experience working with bacterial strains.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be motivated, creative, have strong problem solving and critical thinking
skills, and be capable of working independently.
